  1. The Artistic License
  2.  
  3. Preamble
  4.     The intent of this document is to state the conditions
  5.     under which a Package may be copied, such that the
  6.     Copyright Holder maintains some semblance of artistic
  7.     control over the development of the package, while
  8.     giving the users of the package the right to use and
  9.     distribute the Package in a more-or-less customary
  10.     fashion, plus the right to make reasonable modifications.

  12. Definitions:
  13.       "Package" refers to the collection of files
  14.       distributed by the Copyright Holder, and derivatives
  15.       of that collection of files created through textual
  16.       modification.

  18.       "Standard Version" refers to such a Package if it has
  19.       not been modified, or has been modified in accordance
  20.       with the wishes of the Copyright Holder.

  22.       "Copyright Holder" is whoever is named in the
  23.       copyright or copyrights for the package.

  25.       "You" is you, if you're thinking about copying or
  26.       distributing this Package.

  28.       "Reasonable copying fee" is whatever you can justify
  29.       on the basis of media cost, duplication charges, time
  30.       of people involved, and so on. (You will not be
  31.       required to justify it to the Copyright Holder, but
  32.       only to the computing community at large as a market
  33.       that must bear the fee.)

  35.       "Freely Available" means that no fee is charged for
  36.       the item itself, though there may be fees involved in
  37.       handling the item. It also means that recipients of
  38.       the item may redistribute it under the same conditions
  39.       they received it.

  42.     source form of the Standard Version of this Package
  43.     without restriction, provided that you duplicate all of

  110.     6. The scripts and library files supplied as input to or
  111.     produced as output from the programs of this Package do
  112.     not automatically fall under the copyright of this

  117.     7. C subroutines supplied by you and linked into
  118.     this Package shall not be considered part of this
